How we build this estimate

  1. 1.We take each operator's published fee for the amount and method you picked.
  2. 2.We subtract that fee from what you send, to know how much arrives net.
  3. 3.If the payout is cash, we convert that net to CUP at the most recent informal rate we have verified. If it is MLC or bank, it stays in dollars.
  4. 4.We rank operators by amount received, highest first — not by lowest fee, which is not always the same thing.

Frequently asked questions

Why can the calculated amount differ from what the operator charges me?

We use each operator's published fee and the most recent informal rate we have verified. Operators adjust their fees for promotions, payment method and exact amount — the final number is always confirmed on their site, not here.

What is the difference between receiving cash (CUP) and an MLC card top-up?

Cash in CUP is calculated with the day's informal rate, which changes constantly. The MLC card keeps its balance in dollars — the informal rate does not apply at top-up time, although a separate informal market exists for reselling MLC balance for CUP.

Where does the informal rate come from?

We cross-check it against independent public reports, including the daily rate published by elTOQUE. No figure is copied automatically from another site — it is reviewed and updated by hand.
